Thanks to Team LineageOS, and all LineageOS Contributers like myself.
Please make sure that you have a known to be working back-up saved on the sd card before you install any new custom ROMS.
I can not be held responsible for any issues that may come up, so I can only stress again how important it is for you yourself to make a back-up of the device that you own please.
Make sure the battery on the device is fully charged before you start. Use TWRP to wipe the data as normal. Then go to Advanced Data to wipe the Advanced Data sections but DO NOT WIPE THE SD CARD. After wiping the device then go to install, choose the ROMS download location ie: sd card, then install the ROM, and the correct gapps version for android 7.1.2_r29 please. You need gapps downloaded first to the sd card you that you can flash the ROM, and flash gapps at the same time OK. Then re-boot the device, first boot takes a few mins, then the device will boot faster. When you see the message about do you want to install SU, or do you want to Root the device SELECT NO please.
