Thanks to LineageOS = https://lineageos.org/, and all LineageOS Contributers like myself. This is the new version of LineageOS Built by myself for the Lenovo K5/K5 PLUS A6020 devices. This LineageOS ROM was compiled on my custom DELL PC with OS Linux Mint 18.1 Serena 64-bit. When I first began trying to build ROMS for this device there was an issue with the BOOT.image, and it failed. Since that time however we devs like me, and the auto build bots have been building all types of device ROMS weekly to make sure that those device trees are still build-able. Now the Lenovo K5/K5 PLUS A6020 devices tress are build-able again. At the time of my making this new ROM it is the newest Lenovo K5/K5 PLUS A6020 LineageOS ROM available for this device by more then two days, because the auto build bots only build once a week....the date on my build from today also proves for a fact that I build more frequently then any auto build bot ever could.

Please make sure that you have a known to be working Back-up before you begin installing this ROM. Always make sure that you have a back-up stored on the sd card for the device.
As the Developer/Builder/Maintainer of this Custom LineageOS ROM I CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES, OR ANY PROBLEMS THAT may come up.

Use TWRP to Make Back-up, then wipe Data as normal, then go back to wipe Advanced Data, but DO NOT WIPE THE SD CARD. Then install the ROM, and install the Google Apps - gapps apps for 7.1.2_r29. If you see any message about installing SU select NO, because Magisk will auto take care of the ROOTING NEEDS for you. First Boot up that a few mins, but from that point on the device boots very quickly. This LineageOS Lenovo K5/K5 Plus A6020 ROM has Android Version 7.1.2_r29.
